I am very impressed with this Rod. I don't think there is anything in this price point that competes with it. The guides are very nice and sturdy. The handle is very nicely turned. Have already used it on both big striped bass and off shore for sharks no problem with either!

I have 3 of the Xh Spinning Tank rods, to me they are an absolute no brainer too buy, the double foot guides, the aesthetics, the versatility are all things that make this rod great. I use mine from everything from slide lining on the jetty for kings fish, throwing huge bait off the jetty for bull reds, shark fishing from the beach with spinning gear, throwing huge crabs for monster black drum, trolling and dropping baits next to oil rigs offshore in my kayak for jack and cobia and kingfish, and throwing lures for Alligator Gar, and Also Bait fishing For Alligator Gar. I have been throwing 1.5 once rattle traps at the spillways of dams for gar and can cast 70 yards with 80# braid, i do the same thing for feeding jacks with 3 once spoons and can cast an insane distance with this rod. Buy it you wont be disappointed. - Catching Dinosaurs approved
