I'll start with the good.
The handle has a good grip, kind of fancy if that's your thing. And the reel seat is better than I've seen on a lot of crappie trolling rods.
The bad.
Rods are very heavy for what they are, almost awkward in balance. The eyes are cheaper than a lot of my other trollers, and the spacing doesn't seem quite right, and casting is weird between the eye spacing and the weight. Have had to bend a few and only been fishing them two months. Don't have this problem with most of mine. Lastly, there isn't as much action as I like for a crappie rod. They are pretty stiff for an 18ft rod.
Overall, for the price, decent rod. If you can find higher quality in stock, by all means get them. But these work, they were in stock, and the company was super fast shipping them out.
Great
I just want to say is I've used alot of crappie rods in my life. But having a 10ft okeechobee crappie rod in my hand is no other feeling. It's light weight and has alot of back bone to handle big crappie and even other fish that bite. Me being a guide on okeechobee and having my clients fishing with these rods in there hands is amazing. Lot of compliments on how the feel. Love my vexan rods. I even use vexan on my shiner fishing. 7'4 mh rod helps me get those big bass in my boat. I've been a fan of these rods for the last 6 years when I started using them. As long as I'm fishing I will have a vexan rod in my hand.
Awesome rod used last weekend for the first time did really great 👍🏼
