Very sensitive but has plenty of backbone. Had a 4lb catfish take my bluegill setup and the ultralight rod handled it perfectly. Paired it with a Shimano Sahara 1000 reel and it can cast farther and more accurately than any other setup I have.

Haven't had the chance to use it yet due too work. Paired it with a piscifun viper x reel with 6lb mr crappie line. Very sleek looking combo. Great company to deal with

I really liked the rod when I first got it. However after a few months i had only caught a couple fish with it, then it snapped when I set the hook on a sunfish. When I asked about a warranty they refused to replace it. They did ask for the model number but then never contacted me after I provided the info. I’ve never had this problem with any other rods and won’t be buying another vexan in the future.
