First Off, these are my favorite all around bass rods and I own several of the Strikeback Series. I was fortunate enough to come across these rods while fishing the MNKFA kayak series because of their sponsorship and was lucky enough to win my first Strikeback rod at a tournament. In my opinion, if you like throwing a lot of your baits on braided line, which I do here in MN, these are the best rods out there. The moderate flex that they come in really works well with braided line. I throw light Texas rigs, smaller walking baits and even some lipless on medium/moderate. Swim jigs, bladed jigs, spinnerbaits, buzzbait, larger walking baits on med heavy/ moderate. Frogs, bigger jigs, swim baits, and some punching on heavy/moderate. The moderate flex with braid will help you land more fish. Get yourself one to try, you won’t regret it.
